C-Further is an international consortium focused on the development of children and young people’s cancer therapeutics, founded by Cancer Research Horizons and LifeArc. The full list of C-Further consortium members can be found www.c-further.org/about-us. Cancer Research Horizons provides and is responsible for the C-Further Website, www.c-further.org.
1. Definitions
In these Terms of Use:
"Cancer Research Horizons", “we”, “us” or “our” means or refers to Cancer Research Technology Limited, trading as Cancer Research Horizons, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 1626049 with its registered office at 2 Redman Place London, E20 1JQ.
“Cancer Research UK” or “CRUK” means Cancer Research UK, a company with liability limited by guarantee (registered in England and Wales under number 4325234) and a charity (registered in England and Wales with registered charity number 1089464 and in Scotland with number SCO41666 and in the Isle of Man with number 1103) of 2 Redman Place, London E20 1JQ.
"LifeArc" means LifeArc, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 02698321 with its registered office at 7th Floor, Lynton House 7-12 Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9LT and a charity (registered in England and Wales with registered charity number 1015243 and in Scotland with number SC037861).
“Material” means all of the information, data, text, graphics, links, computer code or other material published on, contained or available on this Website; and
“User”, “you” or “your” means the individual or organisation accessing this Website.
"Website" means this website, and any website under the ownership or control of Cancer Research Horizons which links to these Terms of Use.
2. Your use of this Website
By using this Website, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Use and that you agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.
We may amend or revise these Terms of Use at any time by updating the text of this page. Every time you wish to use this Website, please check these Terms of Use to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.

We will use reasonable endeavours to investigate the reported content and respond within five working days and then take further action as may be necessary within five working days.
5. Intellectual Property
Cancer Research Horizons is the owner or licensee of the intellectual property rights in the Material that Cancer Research Horizons provides. Any intellectual property rights in Material provided by other members of the C-Further consortium is owned or licensed by that consortium member. All such rights are reserved. Unauthorised use of the Material (including reproduction, storage, modification, distribution or republication) without prior written consent is not allowed.
The Cancer Research UK name and logo are some of CRUK’s registered trade marks, the Cancer Research Horizons logo is a registered trade mark of Cancer Research Horizons, and the LifeArc logo is a registered trade mark of LifeArc. You may not use CRUK’s or Cancer Research Horizons' or LifeArc’s unregistered or registered trade marks without the prior consent of CRUK or Cancer Research Horizons or LifeArc as applicable. [You may not use the Consortium branding (C-Further name or logo as shown on this website) without the prior consent of Cancer Research Horizons.]
The Materials are protected by UK and international copyright laws and treaties and you are responsible for obeying all such applicable laws. Reproduction of all or any part of the Materials in any form is prohibited except to the following extent:
(a) You are permitted to make copies of parts of this Website as necessary and incidental to your viewing of this Website and you may print one copy of pages as is appropriate solely for your personal and sole use, but you must not otherwise copy it, use it or re-publish it in whole or in part without our prior written permission; and

Cancer Research Horizons will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages (even if foreseeable) whether based on contract, tort or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This includes but is not limited to liability for: loss of data or profits; interruptions or delays to this Website; the provision of or failure to provide services; any information, Material, goods and services obtained through this Website; use of or reliance on any Material; or otherwise arising out of your use of or inability to use this Website.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law Cancer Research Horizons expressly disclaims all warranties, representations and undertakings express or implied statutory or otherwise, including those of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Without limiting the foregoing Cancer Research Horizons makes no representation or warranty that:
(a) Cancer Research Horizons will provide uninterrupted or error free access to this Website or the services it offers;

10. Viruses and other malware

This includes but is not limited to any act of God, strike, trade dispute, act of terrorism, act or omission of government or regulatory bodies.
13. General
These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and Cancer Research Horizons in relation to its subject matter and supersede all other communications and proposals, whether electronic or written, between the User and Cancer Research Horizons.
Any failure of Cancer Research Horizons to exercise or enforce any of its rights under these Terms of Use shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such rights.
If any provisions of these Terms of Use are held to be invalid or unenforceable, this will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions.
No term of these Terms of Use is enforceable under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties Act) 1999 by a person who is not a party to these Terms of Use.
14. Disputes
Between you and us: Please contact us in the first instance at info@c-further.org and we will attempt to resolve the dispute in an amicable manner through discussion. If discussions between you and us do not resolve the dispute then we will consider requests for mediation or arbitration as a further alternative to litigation.
Between you and another user: We shall not be liable, and you agree to release us from all claims or other demands arising from a dispute between you and another user of this Website. You may request and we will give reasonable consideration to providing information and assistance (although we shall not be obliged to do so) where it may resolve the dispute in an amicable manner.
15. Jurisdiction
All matters relating to these Terms of Use and use of this Website shall be governed by English law. All persons accessing this Website, whether from within the United Kingdom or outside the United Kingdom, irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts in relation to any disputes arising from or relating to this Website, any transactions made via this Website, these Terms of Use and/or any other use of this Website.
Furthermore, all persons accessing this Website irrevocably waive all and any rights to bring any action in any jurisdiction other than England and Wales. Those accessing this site from outside England and Wales are solely responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
